An excellent (alternate) version of the popular - Wild Rover - was recorded by the Co Kerry-native Andy O'Brien in his "The Irish Tradition" (O'Brien/McComiskey/Mulvihill) days. I believe it predates The House Band recording by a decade or so. Andy sings it unaccompanied (at least, that's what I hear in my head). I will seek to dig it out and post it here. "The Tradition" were pretty good about crediting sources in their liner notes. I'll post any remarks as well.
