My father has a long-standing affection for "A Christmas Story", which has translated over the years into a veritable familial obsession...suffice to say that the whole thing hit *very* close to home! This past Christmas my kids and I were barely able to contain our glee before giving him the following prezzie:

Needless to say, my dad loved it, my mom slapped me (but only half-heartedly...!), and it was the hit of the day, providing that unique sense of satisfaction that comes with getting JUST the right gift for someone.

Ah, well, there's an actor who should be long remembered for his creative approach to onscreen profanity, if nothing else..."not a finger"!!!
