The Guardian newspaper recently ran a section on unusual business names. Examples :- Aberdeenshire snack bar - "Jack-o-bites" General Store in the (South of England, I think) small town of Knocken - "The Knocken shop" Hairdressers - "Have it off" Mobile fish and chip shop - "Star chip Enterprise" The best ad I ever saw was in the small ads of a local newspaper some years ago in the "Pets" section "For sale, mongrel dog, almost human, otherwise sound"
