Burns depraved? Why must you try to put 21st Century attitudes onto an 18th Century man?
For that matter - what about Christianity? More people have been killed, tortured,etc, in it's name than just about anything else. Does that mean we call Christianity depraved? Well.... I probably would, but then I think most religions with origins in the middle east are riddled with intolerance.
