Does anyone know the prayer poem, "From God whom cometh all good and perfect gifts, with grateful hearts we thank thee for thy blessings" it ends with: "As long as thou giveth us strength, teach us to use it for thy love, honor and glory" I would like to have all the middle parts of the prayer too. I think it was a modified prayer originally from a prayer book.

It sound a bit like a Mystical, metaphysical prayer in its origin and is often allegedly attributed to U.S. President George Washington: the prayer journal of the revolutionary war.

Any help to pin this down would be greatly appreciated, my Grandfater use to recite this prayer many years ago around the dinner table before meals.

Sincerely,

Dewey
