It is Kafka-esque--which is to say, when you strip away the horrifying but absurd central conceit, it is absolutely real. And some of those characters have the same freaking names as people in my family--the only difference is that no one gets killed--not that you don't feel the temptation ocassionally. I guess that's why they say TV violence is cathartic...Bada Bing! |
