I'm about to make a CD of Lancashire songs and want to include this one but have known it for so long I can't remember anything about it, nor where I got it in fact this may not even be the right title. Can anyone help? The song begins:-
Twas when the dawn of morning began to stir in t'sky
I donned misell to wander afore the dew were dry
To wander in the gay, green woods reight early I did rove
It made me for to think upon the one that I do love
