Does anyone remember the Adelphi Folk club in Wind St Swansea.In the late 1960s it was overflowing with the most fantastic music.I went there as a 17 year old who loved Otis Redding and the Four Tops [ still do ] and came away with my head full of the delta blues,flamenco ,traditional folk and loads more.I remember seeing the late great Jo Ann Kelly performing and being knocked out with her singing and guitar playing.I would be interested in hearing any other thoughts and memories about the Adelphi.The club was run by a young guy called Davey.Oh and the place was full of young people!!
