Please help me sending warm thoughts to one of the most beautiful of voices: Roger Whittaker is celebrating his 70th birthday today and his 45th year in music! While he's officially not saying he'll retire, he is slowing down his concert schedule significantly and will only be on tour in Germany in 2007. If you are interested, here's his official website: http://www.rogerwhittaker.com/ My father's all-time favorite song was Mr. Whittaker's "Last Farewell" although I would have to say I love "Durham Town", "Dirty Old Town," "I Don't Believe in If Anymore," and of course, the song that started him, "New World in the Morning" just as much.
