Sorry to take so long. As you are already aware their are records of this family in Leicestershire. The issue of surnames predating standardised spelling is covered elsewhere in this thread. Apologies for offering something so insubstantial.

By clicking on the Thread Name, you will be sent to the Forum on that thread as if you selected it from the main Mudcat Forum page.
