In my neck-of-the-woods the Labour council richly deserves to lose as they are a bunch of sanctimonius, hypocritical bastards who only seem to serve the interests of property developers these days - oh yes, and speed-bump builders. In spite of my contempt for these tossers it still wouldn't persuade me to vote for the Tories - or any party to the right of them (perish the thought!!!).
