there is a Chilkd Ballad I think it is called "Bessie Bell and Mary Gray" that is interpreted by some to be about lesbians. It is about two women living together anyway. What aboiut the "who'se gonna shoe" songs ? "Sister can kiss my red ruby lips.. I don't need no man." of course this appears to be temporary and incestuous.
