A Merry Beltane/Mayday to all!!

Those who know me will know (to their cost!) that I have a habit of rounding up 'the usual suspects' to play for nowt at various charity bashes.

I'm at it again, but now I'm getting organised (...very scary!).

I'm putting together a database/band of those musos/singers willing to be involved in these projects. Gonna call it the 'Rum & Kidney Band' (Rum & Kidney men being those itinerant musicians who used to turn up & play @ weddings/wakes/parties; not get paid, but wind up with the leftovers from the feast. Rum and kidneys, presumably)

Please PM me if you'd like to be involved (if you don't contact me, I'll hassle you in person later!). An email address would be nice, but I'll post threads anyway. Also please respond to this message, so that it becomes a nice, meaty thread, then other people will look and, maybe, join up too!!

1st gig will be in July (unless something comes up sooner), for the Humber Bridges 25 celebrations, in support of the St Andrews' Children's Hospice. No money, but plenty prestige, & a nice warm feeling inside (and take that as you will!)

Occasional 'rehearsals'/get-togethers ('gets-together'?), in 'Ull, probably on a Monday (but not to clash with the Black Boy session).

If I get a 'core membership', could be T-shirts!! (But still no money)
