"Shambles: If I ask you not to curse in my home, it is not censorship."

This is where I part ways with you and Clinton.

Shambles may be an annoying pest, but he has NEVER risen to the baiting, nor stooped to the level of vulgar insults, the hostility, the cruel, mocking tone that the forum moderators and some others have directed at him. Ever. He has been a perfect gentleman, and that is worth something in my world.

The same certainly cannot be said for Joe & the clones. And it isn't just Shambles they attack and mock. I find their behavior, as supposed leaders here who model should be modelling the desired behavior for the rest of the forum, to be nauseating. They should NEVER add those little red remarks. Ever. Or mock other posters. Ever.

And if we are to attack people here for being annoying, I have a very long list...

All that needs to happen when someone like Shambles keeps at it is ignore him. Don't read his posts, and for god sake, don't respond to them!

I participate in two forums that don't require membership/sign-in, that allow for guest log-in. They don't come close to the rudeness and antagonism I see here. But then, nor do the Yahoo groups I frequent who do require log-in. So in my opinion, the sewer nature of this forum has nothing to do with the member/guest log-in, and everything to do with the clientele.
