Grey Wolf Thought for the day - February 5, 2000 (56* d) RE: Thought for the day - February 5, 2000 05 Feb 00

Given the responses that have been posted to my message, I've obviously angered several people.

That was not my intention. Being a fairly new poster here, I had no inkling that 'thought for the day' was something that had been going on for a while, and was a thread designed to discuss anything and everything.

I would maintain that giving it a 'BS' heading would have helped.

But that is, in a sense, beside the point. This is supposedly a 'folk/blues' discussion forum. It has evolved a 'chat' dimension. That's fine with me.

I have a fair knowledge of English folk song - something I'm happy to share.

If I get more message from the like of 'Dave (the ancient mariner)' I shan't bother. I may have upset people, I didn't mean to. I was trying to make a reasonable point.
