I apologize, even if only to myself, for becoming a multiple poster (if twice counts) on this thread, but I couldn't resist. Donning my Stephen Deadalus persona, I was bowled over by the simple wisdom and humor of Buck Mulligan's post. "On the internet, no one knows you're a dog" - but everyone can tell if you seem to be an asshole. A classic. It seems to sum up rather nicely much of fluff that has accumulated around this thread.
