I'd like to recommend Glenn Greenwald's book "How Would A Patriot Act?", which discusses at length the illegality of the maladministration's various "intelligence" programs (also discussed on a daily basis on his blog, Unclaimed Territory, http://glenngreenwald.blogspot.com/). Any thinking American should buy it, read it, and spread the word. Cheers,
