Margaret's struggle was, blessedly, very brief. From her diagnosis with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease a little over a week ago, to her peaceful passing between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday evening, May 23, Margaret was at home in Vermont on the farm she loved, surrounded by her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. Her family was with her--and singing for her--to the end. My heart is filled with sadness that I will never see Margaret again, but she will remain a warm part of many cherished memories, both musical and personal. What a wonderful woman. She lived her truth, and touched so many. Kathy
