I feel blessed to have known her. I wish I had been able to meet her more often. Thankfully, the Internet allowed us to keep in touch, but it isn't the same. I always feel a profound sorrow when someone I consider an elder has died. By that I mean someone who is an invaluable source of ballads, stories and knowledge. People like Margaret always seem to leave a tremendous vaccuum in their wake. I realize there are always people who carry on the traditions - at least, there are in Margaret's case - but nevertheless... Moira Cameron
