I've got the CD and really enjoy it, it is a bit overkill, but the tunes are excellent. His version of 'Oh, Mary Don't You Weep' is a great singalong number.

Also, for solo acoustic type stuff, check out his 'Nebraska' album.

I've never really been a fan of his stuff either, but have those 2 albums.
