I played the concertina with my granddad in the procession at Longbridge Field Day near Preston. He is 84 and I am 39. He is a lifelong morrisman and musician. I am a late starter. It is likely he will never be in this procession again as he really suffered today. The weather was warm and sunny and the people very freindly. Also I was able to buy him a pie and a pint or two. A day of memories!
