Just to put the record straight, Bodmin isn't the only 'proper' club in Cornwall. Smugglers' Folk (formerly St Ives Folk Club) started about 5 years ago and although it has had to move it's base a few times is now held at the Wheal Dream in Helston every Sunday at 8.15pm. There are some great resident singers and instrumentalists and a warm welcome is given to everyone who turns up, whether it be to sit and listen or to those who want to take a more active part in the evening.
