Speaking as an ex-United Church member (ex only 'cause I live in Wales now) I'd be really interested in hearing more about this. On the humour side: Grandma's Feather Bed (John Denver) is rollicking. The serious ones that come to mind are actually trying to make other points (political) but perhaps it's all in the way you listen. Unfortunately, although they're Irish, I only know them in Welsh. I think one is ... um...Four Fields? The other one won't make any sense if I just translate the title. The chorus roughly translates: It's quiet now in Esgair Llyn (name of farm) where once I learned to sing the world's song ... Too vague? Anyone know the original? Sian
