Well, that NC team is really the transplanted New England Whalers (our sad pathetic team when I was a CT resident) nee the "Boston Whalers" ... and we know what a powerhouse BC and New Hampshah and Dartmouth have become, rivalling the WCHA teams nowadays when the only mystery used to be whether Minnesnoter ("Heeeerrrbiieeee!!!" of Miracle on Ice fame) or Wisconsin (Bob Johnson, who didn't do quite so well) would be the NCAA champs.

More power to NC (those f***ing ingrates, who deserted their loyal fans in Hartford), and my condolences to Ron Francis, who worked mighty hard for many long years trying to get the Whalers to be close to a pro club....
