I believe Woody's plan, if indeed he had one arose out of the idea that he wrote a column for the Daily Worer. Marjorie chided him for spending his days in the bar while professing to be a worker. He didn't only spend his days writing songs, as some have already mentioned. He spent time in the library reading and taking out books. He wrote columns for newspapers. He wrote poetry and did drawings. |
