Boarding Party (KC) Lyr Req/Add: Goodbye Old Ship of Mine (36) Tune Add: GOODBYE, OLD SHIP OF MINE 13 Feb 00

Di

One day by the docks I was straying
C|EFG|DEF|E2C|2C
By the quay-side I happened to be
G|CCC|BBA|2G
When I overheard someone saying
G|EFG|DEF|E2C
To an old ship just in from the sea
|DDD|DEC|2D

Here's a very crude quarter note waltz timey, pseudo abc imitation of the verse. Its hard to be notationally challenged! The big thing to remember is that the verse ends on the dominant 7th (D note). I've got it in a midi format but am challenged on how to get it into miditext and inserted in this here message

What follows is my best whack. Let me know if any of this makes sense
