I've been meaning to start this thread for a long time. What finally pushed me over the edge was the wonderful set by Diego Brown at Cornbury Festival the weekend before last where they threw a bag of kazoos into the audience and a great time was had by all. Anyway, the point is this: at every festival I go to there are always stalls selling kazoos; in my local music shops (Maidstone and Sittingbourne, Kent, UK) there are kazoos available (one shop in Maidstone even has a special tub for the "up=market" metal ones). But where do they all go? I do at least play the kazoo, and I know that after a period of time a kazoo either disappears down the back of the settee, is lent and never returned or ends up being crushed underfoot, and at a quid or two a go one buys another one. But I very rarely see anyone playing one. As they're on sale in so many places I assume that people must be buying them; so what happens to them?
