I want to belatedly thank you all again for the marvelous detective work you did on this song. It's lovely to have all the verses, and to be able to trace the pedigree right back to the author. Extra thanks to Mr. Ryan for tracking down the full lineage. The only piece of the puzzle still missing is: how to contact Mr. Flanagan of Corofin. I may yet find the opportunity to record this song, and when the time comes, I'd like to be able to ask Mr. Flanagan for his blessing, and send him the royalty cheque!
