Last three generations of my parents families ( before mine, from circa 1900 - 2000) Included 11 thin men, 3 fat men, 10 fat women, 4 thin women. Men died ages 43 to 67 (heart disease, diabetes, cancer). Women died ages 51 to 96 (cancer, stroke, old age). All the men are deceased. Three women, two fat, one thin, are still living (in their own homes), ages 80 to 86. Anecdote does not equal data. But I don't believe 20 to 30 extra pounds is as much of a risk as we are told. Reefer Madness with a plate of pasta, my honeys.
