Agree with you about the dogs Lynne, seems to be a problem getting worse each year, I was also saved by earplugs and handed out a few pairs to grateful neigbours.

I had a quieter Sidmouth than usual but many highlights including some of the Ham concerts (Spiers and Boden in particular), busking on the prom with my three teenagers, Newt sessions, Kitty and Rosie's sessions and some spontaneous harmony singing with friends one night in The Ship. Thought the Ham PA was excellent this year.

Biggest frustration was trying to get a song in the lunchtime session at the Volunteer despite having my name 'on the list' for three days. Found out afterwards this happens regulary if you're not known or don't have the password.
