Hmm! Guilty on all counts yer honour! Mind you I only have the Guinness when there isn't any decent real ale as an alternative. The eyes closed thing is definitely for "visualising" longer unaccompanied songs. In just one or two songs a spoken last line can convey much more effect than the sung line (as is stopping The Cutty Wren one line short in the last chorus!) My excuse of course, is that I AM a wanton old hippy :)
