I'd stood on a cliff over the sea on several occasions and seen the ordinary weather motions of the sea (and felt the wind--if I'd spread my arms in the cape I was wearing I might have made Greenland) and wondered at ANY person putting ANY craft into that thundering mass of cold water and rocks for ANY reason.
