It's tomorrow! Weather forecast is for cloudy and windy. Dress warmly, as you would on a ship :-). Celeste couldn't get away from her park superintendent responsibilities at New Bedford, but will be there in spirit. As for what we'll do at the "The Chantey Sing Rangers" set, Rev, I thought we'd start with "Moon River," then move into "I'm Going To Wash That Man Right Out Of My Hair," "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Heas," "Surfin' USA," .....(Rev, Gary Keep and I will actually have a "whole shipload" of chanteys and a few forebitters, favorites sung at the chantey sings over the years). It promises to be a alot of fun for kids as well, so bring the family. Kids crafts, music, lots of hands-on activities. Check the website Joe provided. Thanks, Joe. The program flyer that will be handed out lists the evening chantey sing as happening aboard the sailing ship Balclutha, its normal home until the Thayer's return. The sing will actually be aboard the ferryboat Eureka. See you there, 'Catters! Chanteyranger
