I've been lurking sporadically for a few months and only commenting occasionally, but have found the lyrics database invaluable during the last couple of years. I play journeyman level folk/classical guitar, and sing anything from madrigals to motown (even choruses in public with local theatre and opera). Perhaps eclectic would be the kindest term for my musical career, so I'll spare you additional details.

My favorite dead poets are Burns, Hein, and Gilbert in no particular order, and (un?)fortunately I can't seem to write anything but parody these days. A celtic/folk/vocal quartet we started about two years ago is the musical project of which I'm proudest, and maybe we'll eventually make a splash here along the gulf coast.
