GUEST,Popinjay Is Keith Donnelly's humour rubbish? (56* d) RE: Is Keith Donnelly's humour rubbish? 22 Sep 06

Hello

I think Keith (if he reads it) will find this thread amusing and I would absolutely not have posted it if I had thought otherwise. The thread itself is meant as a joke which those of you out there with a sense of humour will have appreciated. I also bet (if he finds out about it) he will use it to get a few laughs at his gigs (just buy me a pint Keith). If Keith is offended by it I will unreservedly apologise for posting it (proof needed as we can all post as KD, but this can be arranged). I would even be willing to sit through the whole of one of his sets as a penance. So lets ask Keith himself .... are you offended by this thread Keith or can you see the humour in it? Where are you Keith Donnelly?

Quick reply to Badger. No I would not say anything nasty about you, you are entitled to your opinion and it is welcome here. Actually I don't go to Keith's performances (for similar reasons to those given by Mo the caller), but I do leave them when he's the next act on at the festival.

Quick reply to Skipy. There are many acts I don't like, but would never start a thread about them. This is different, can't you see?

So hold fire until we hear from Keith. Someone here said they were a friend of Keith's - ask him if he can see the humour. There's no need to be offended on his behalf - really. If I have genuinely offended him I will do the penance.
