Right,since Im always late for everything anyway, I may as well peek my head round the door and say hello at the tail end here...I found this site quite by accident the other day and have to admit to being instantly addicted. I sent the addy to my darlin who is a folkie in Scotland(and has the largest collection of Trad lyrics I'd Ever seen in one place, til i landed here with the amazing DigiTrad) and now he's one of the faithful as well! I think I fall more into the Fan & Admirer category than the musician, although I sing, play guitar & dulcimer and am re-learning mandolin and just learning "whistles". I couldnt write a song to save my life, but am in awe of those who can--perhaps I can be part of the official "Huzzah" squad??
