re "The Old Corral", yes, Gene and Roy had a fist fight while Gene was rounding up Roy and his "brothers". Roy even got in a punch or two before the inevitable conclusion. Hoppy (That's Hopalong Cassidy, as portrayed by silent screen star, William Boyd) did not sing and, to tell you the truth, I don't remember Lucky (played by Russel somebody) singing, either. Hoppy had those pearl handled six-guns and that silver kerchief clasp with the longhorn symbol. He was the only elderly cowboy hero, sort of a two-fisted Miss Marple. Unlike Gene and Roy, Hoppy didn't make new episodes for his TV show. He just reran his old movies and sold everything from Hoppy games to Hoppy lunchboxes. For really good music, you might want to check out Roy's "Bells of St. Angelo's" and "My Pal, Trigger". "King of the Cowboys" features a wonderful version of "I'm an Old Cowhand From the Rio Grand".
