I read the posts on Ireland and Northern Ireland with great interest. I was once upon time quite active in pursuing a United Ireland myself, albeit in a peaceful way, but today I see more pressing issues. In twenty years time or even less, the indigenous could be outnumbered by the immigrants from Eastern Europe and emigres from Africa and other nations. I wonder what the founding fathers of the state would have thought of this future Ireland. I am not a rascist and I never will be and I think that integration is a wonderful thing, but there isn't very much of that going on here at the moment. My point is that the state has to put a curb on immigration no matter how healthy our economy is at the moment. John Hartery
