No Strazynski pitched the idea to Paramount (Or whoever makes Star Trek) but they said no, then he tried Warner Bros who said yes, then when B5 was in pre production rumours of a new ST came out, and guess what the plot was amazingly similar to the one Strazynski pitched! Hmmmmmm BTW it is impossible to compare B5 and Who, they are both fantastic!
