Wow Bob, I appreciate you taking time to assemble all the info on it. Thanks to everyone as well. The only version I've heard performed is by a group of young guys in a band called Uncle Tupelo. It was listed as trad of course, and their arrangement of it was nice. They obviously redid the lyrics (or used Dylans' version, which I have not read) Here's a link ... moonshiner Anyhow, as much as I love the UT version, I'm sure I'd really enjoy older versions as well.
