www.elderly.com is where I got mine -- they offer a couple of "classical guitar" straps in their catalog -- $15.55 and $4.70 -- sorry I couldn't find my invoice. For all the general useage comments -- I've been using these things for 40 years now, ever since I first saw Bud and Travis live. Yes, you HAVE to keep one hand on your guitar, although a right elbow on the box bout is almost as good and leaves you one and a half hands at least. Frankly, I think the lack of "stability" in this design is more than offset by the increase in "controlability" of the whole system -- much more freedom than the conventional straps all my friends use. Besides, I can throw my left arm around a pretty bystander, grab the next chord and keep right on playing!! Yet to have an objection, since any move she makes might interupt the music -- this is something that us dirty old men guitar pickers everywhere need to utilize! Yes, my old Martin shows some slight wear at the sound-hole -- that might be a factor for anyone who tries to keep a pristine machine (not me). Ditto the decoration. Never tried. As far as the "pull" on the top goes, its something I've been unable to discern -- notice that all the force is edgewise and will NOT act to pull the top out. Try it -- I think you'll like it. Fred
