Nothing wrong with refils as long as they work well. I won't even bother to do it myself. Our B/W is a 12 yr old HP Laser 4. The original cartridge lasted nearly 6 years. The replacement cost me $100 and last month that went out. This time I got a refilled model for $40 and it is working fine.

Our AIO, HP, gobbles ink but we never use it unless we need double sided or color or copying or faxing. We can also use the old HP scanner for copies through the old laser printer.

I think you gets what you pays for. 12 years on and I don't think even HP expected their stuff to last so long. Hope the AIO is as good value.

BTW We paid $700 for the Laser printer
