GUEST,ALICAT OF COALTOWN Lyr req/ADD: Songs by Donovan (75* d) Lyr Add: CELIA OF THE SEALS (Donovan)^^ 04 Mar 00

Hi Gary

As I promised here's Celia of the Seals from Donovan's HMS Donovan Album. Sorry it took more than two days but teaching got in the way. Have asked a friend for the chords but this will take longer is great if you can work out an echo on the chorus of this

Should you wander this land to the north
As few seldom do
Should you follow the song of the gull to Enchanted Western Isle
Coax a fisherman take you out
Where the silky seals are seen
Hear the stories that they tell about
Celia of the seals
She knows just how they feel
Celia of the seals

Chorus
Noinia noinia noinia
noinia noinia nay
Celia of the seals

Seal hunters are not brave and bold
They murder her poor wee seals
And cut of the skins with their souls
Cursed are those who deal
There's no reason for this slaughtering
They are left on the rocks to bleed
It's not a man who does this thing
It's a cruel and heartless deed
Celia of the seals
Celia of the seals
Celia of the seals
Celia of the seals

Chorus

Noinia noinia noinia
noinia noinia nay
Noinia noinia noinia
noinia noinia nay Fade out from around here
Noinia noinia noinia
noinia noinia nay

Celia of the seals
Celia of the seals

Crowhugger can get the chords to Atlantis if you still haven't got them. They are used as a simple background top the poem and as Gary says the refrain is repeated ad inf.
