Silly thought probably but Bob Calvert (Lead singer of Hawkwind for a while) had a solo album called "Lucky Leif and the Longships in which he parodied a few American styles. The one referring to moonshine went like this...... They call me a hog-drunken swine. Because i like drinking wine. But I'm not really drunk all the time. I was sober when I made up this rhyme. CHORUS; There's moonshine in the mountains and it's flowing so deep, So grab yourself a bucket; still waters run deep!
A cowboy, he married a squaw. Who's feet they were size twenty-four. I'll tell you what he married her for, If you help me get up from the floor.
I remember it much better now, It had something to do with a cow... She could milk it with one foot and plough With the other... no that aint right somehow.
The last verse is about trampling grapes, but maybe the moonshine's addled my brains too......see ya; Calach
