Who sang what where(& when); what's the odd line in the 3rd cho. of whatever that so&so sang in 1948 in a hoot in NYC; is such&such really trad. or did someone traceable write it in 1822; what was the campaign song that defeated whoever ran against Lincoln that year---etc, etc, ad infinitum. Words, melody, has it ever been printed in a book? Which one? By who? He's an incredible repository of knowledge, and shares it generously. God may have to let him live forever, cuz who could God ask if He forgets something and then needs to know it? About songs, anyway.       Tw
