GUEST,memyself How the words change (52* d) RE: How the words change 06 Dec 06

Well, yes, of course; as I said two posts ago, "we all know what it means" (what a quote, if I do say so myself). However, who was it that introduced the term "grammatically correct" into the conversation? 'Twarn't me. My point is that the line is so grammatically incorrect, and as a consequence so nonsensical, in a technical sense, that it really doesn't make any difference whether it contains the word "ever" or "never". Either way, it is indeed English as it could conceivably be spoken by someone somewhere in some circumstance.
