Some little voice in my head says that it must by Spedding playing on the album. Spedding says nothing, except about his work on the demos; but I wouldn't be surprised if Malcolm McLaren didn't put in a silence clause into his contract. It does sound strange that Jones had developed into such a good guitarist so quickly and then went and lost his new found talent, as a live album I heard once recorded shortly before they folded, testifies. Sid Vicious was crap. He had no talent, no nothing, and a junky to boot.
