Bullseye Paul!! I later found what I was looking for in my External hard drive. The song is "Two Men At Arms - We Run Them In" The Offenbach sheet music can be found in the Leter S. Levy collection. I sequenced it in NoteWorthy Composer and MIDI. And there are two Mudcat threads with lyrics. Look under Bold Gendarmes and Gendarmes Duet. The exact song I was looking for is a medley of Delaney's Donkey and Two Men At Arms. I have a recording [mp3] by unknown artists taken from an Irish Radio Site. It is sung by Anthony Kearns [of the Irish Tenors] and Patrick Healy at many concerts under the Title "The Bould Gendarmes" but I haven't been able to find their recording [if there is one]. There are a number of web sites concerning the Offenbach melody [from Genevieve De Braabant] as the basis for the Marine's Hymn. Thanks again Paul. Ed
