Big time meltdown happening at the Folk Alliance. It seems the Board Of Directors weren't happy with everything Louis Meyers, the Executive Director was doing so they stripped some of his powers and hired consultants to supervise the staff. Some of Louis' friends, led by Anne Saunders of Falcon Ridge FF and Vic and Reba Heyman revolted. Lots of name calling and innuendos that made the Republicans and Democrats in Congress look tame. The latest is that Mark Moss, the Editor of Sing Out has resigned as Folk Alliance Treasurer. Who said folkies all get along?
