You need to write lots and lots of songs, of which 99% will end up in the trash-can. It is a craft, like any other, and success comes with practice. You only learn it by doing it, and by doing it lots and lots. Eventually, out of all the dross, you will find the occasional diamond. FWIW, I find that a glass of red wine aids the creative process.

By clicking on the Date (Posted), you will dig out every message posted that day.
